Cool Peel

Cool Peel can deliver the same benefits as traditional CO2 laser resurfacing without the downtime and risk of hyperpigmentation, demarcation, and infection. Cool Peel targets the superficial layer of the skin, removing damaged cells and revealing younger, healthier-looking skin while stimulating new collagen production to tighten the skin and balance tone.

Elluminate

  • Sun-induced brown spots

  • Pore refinement

  • Anti-aging (collagen production)

  • Surgical scars

  • Acne scars

  • Skin texture and tone

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

A treatment that uses a high-intensity light source at a variety of wavelengths to treat skin conditions and diminish signs of aging including:

  • Rough skin texture

  • Broken Blood Vessels

  • Birthmarks

  • Sun-damaged skin

  • Rosacea

  • Freckles

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal targets the melanin (pigment) specifically within the unwanted hair follicles. The heat from the laser is absorbed by the follicle which inhibits/delays future hair growth, leaving you smoother and requiring less maintenance, especially compared to alternative hair removal methods.

Multiple treatments, spaced weeks apart are required to adequately remove unwanted hair.  Periodic maintenance treatments may also be needed. The number of treatments required varies according to skin type, hair type, heredity, medications, hormones, and other factors.  In order for hair to be removed safely, it is imperative that the correct laser is selected for your skin type.

Tattoo Removal

Ink embedded in the deep layers of the skin is targeted and fragmented by a specific laser thereby allowing the body's lymphatic system to remove the ink. Experts consider tattoo removal by laser to be the most successful way to remove unwanted tattoos.

Successful tattoo removal requires a high level of skill.  Selecting the appropriate laser setting to achieve the desired result is extremely important.  Multiple laser treatments are required over the course of months to remove your tattoo. Factors affecting the efficacy of treatment include ink color, location of the tattoo, and whether the tattoo was performed by a professional tattoo artist or not.  Laser tattoo removal can be painful, however, our board-certified dermatologists can use topical and/or injectable anesthesia, when necessary.

Vascular Laser

A vascular laser delivers a brief burst of light which targets the blood within vessels in the skin. When this light is absorbed, it causes the blood inside the vessels to solidify (coagulate). Over the next several weeks, the vessel is slowly absorbed by the body. Conditions treated with a vascular laser include:

  • Telangiectasias (tiny superficial blood vessels, most noticeable in rosacea, sun damaged skin and around the nose)

  • Redness in scars (pink acne scars, stretch marks, and surgical scars)

  • Venous lakes (small dark blue spots commonly seen on the the lips and face)

  • Angiomas (small cherry-red spots or harmless growths composed of blood vessels which can occur anywhere on the body

  • Red birthmarks
