HOW DOES THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL COMPARE TO OTHER PEELS?
The Perfect Derma Peel combines intense ingredients with effective acids to deliver outstanding results in one treatment. This unique formula allows for an increase in the lifting of fine lines and wrinkles as well as a lightening of melasma, sun damage and hyper-pigmentation.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NECESSARY FOR VISIBLE IMPROVEMENT?
After one treatment of the Perfect Derma Peel, overall skin tone and complexion will appear smooth, glowing and fresh. Depending on skin conditions, multiple treatments may be necessary for desired results. A series of 2-3 treatments applied once every 4 weeks will allow for optimal results for more severe skin conditions such as Melasma and active acne.
HOW SOON WILL I SEE RESULTS OF THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL?
Patients will see improvement in skin within a few days and will see continued improvement two weeks after the peel.
HOW LONG WILL MY RESULTS LAST?
As long as the skin is maintained with proper skincare products, the improved results will last. We recommend two to three treatments of the Perfect Derma Peel per year to sustain desired results for regular maintenance and rejuvenation, as well as the daily use of an SPF.
WHAT SKIN TYPES RESPOND WELL TO THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL?
All skin types (Fitzpatrick 1-6) are safe to treat and will attain considerable improvements from the Perfect Derma Peel.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL?
The Perfect Derma Peel requires no preconditioning of the skin prior to treatment. Your dermatologist may recommend you hold your retinol 3 days prior to Peel.
DOES THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL HURT?
You may feel a slight stinging or tingling sensation, which will subside after just a few seconds. Numbing takes place once the first pass of the Perfect Derma Peel solution is applied. You can use a fan to help cool the skin.
HOW LONG WILL THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL TREATMENT TAKE?
The Perfect Derma Peel application process only takes 15 minutes.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN TERMS OF DOWNTIME AFTER THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL?
Downtime starts on day three and ends on day seven. This treatment is more powerful than most peels, but without the associated pain or downtime.
HOW SEVERE IS THE PEELING, AND WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE PEELING PROCESS?
The amount of peeling skin associated with The Perfect Derma Peel is mainly a sloughing of thin sheets of epidermis skin that begins around day three and generally is completed by day six or seven.
WHAT WILL I LOOK LIKE DURING THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL TREATMENT AND POST PEEL?
Immediately after the peel has been applied the skin will either appear red, like a sunburn, or darker. On day three, peeling will begin. Moisturizer will reduce the visibility of peeling by hydrating. By day six or seven, the peeling process should be complete, and the results are visible. You will appreciate continued improvement over the next couple of weeks.
WILL MY DAILY ROUTINE BE AFFECTED BY THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL TREATMENT?
Normal activities may be resumed immediately post peel. We only recommend avoiding heavy exercise and excessive sweating during the peeling process.
CAN MAKEUP BE WORN POST PEEL?
The day the peel is applied you should not put on any makeup or other products.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
The Perfect Derma Peel may be applied initially every four weeks if necessary. Thereafter, we recommend once every four or five months to maintain improved skin results, as well as, prevent further aging and environmental damage.
CAN THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL BE APPLIED TO OTHER PARTS OF THE BODY OTHER THAN THE FACE?
The face, neck, chest, and hands are the most commonly treated areas. The Perfect Derma Peel can be applied to other areas of the body, but the process and the results will not necessarily be the same.
WILL THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL HELP IMPROVE ACNE AND ACNE SCARS?
The Perfect Derma Peel formula was designed to help improve various problematic skin conditions. This treatment was tailored to help those with acne. The Perfect Derma Peel helps minimize the damage and scarring done by acne. The glutathione helps increase cellular turnover to demolish stubborn acne scars. A series of peels will be necessary to diminish the damage and scarring.
HOW MANY PERFECT DERMA PEEL TREATMENTS ARE NECESSARY TO RESOLVE ACNE SCARS?
Depending on the severity of scarring, a series of 3-4 peels every four weeks will be needed for optimum results. The number of treatments will also depend on how vigorous the layers are applied. Depending on your scarring, other treatments such as microneedling or lasers, may be needed in combination with the peel.
HOW WILL THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL IMPROVE MY SKIN?
The Perfect Derma Peel will help erase fine lines and wrinkles, reduce enlarged pores, help build collagen and elastin which will help to tighten and firm the skin. WILL MY SKIN BE SENSITIVE POST PEEL?
Skin will be more sensitive during the peeling process and for 2-3 weeks post treatment.
IS SUN EXPOSURE PERMITTED POST PEEL?
Sun exposure should be limited if not avoided before and during the peeling process.
WHEN CAN THE NEXT TREATMENT OF THE PERFECT DERMA PEEL BE APPLIED?
3-4 weeks after recovery (once the entire peel process is complete.)
